Home - 6th China-Europe Symposium on Biomaterials in Regenerative Medicine.

CESB 2017

Welcome Address

It is with great pleasure that we invite you to be part of the 6th China-Europe Symposium on Biomaterials in Regenerative Medicine, to be held in Porto from May 21-24, 2017.

CESB2017 aims at bringing together two Societies that are collaborating for many years to bring forward significant advances to the field of Biomaterials with specific focus on Regenerative Medicine applications. It will review the developmental trend and the progress on the frontier research of biomaterials sciences and engineering, including progresses in clinical research and applications.

This year we will welcome you in the beautiful city of Porto! Traditionally a city of traders, where people from the entire world get together to establish new collaborations, it will be the perfect setting for discussing new ideas and further promote and stimulate the growth of Chinese-European communities in Biomaterials Sciences!

We are convinced that all the ingredients are definitely in place to make this symposium a successful and fruitful one. We look forward to welcoming you in Porto!

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

The call for abstracts will be open until February 2 (notification of acceptance on March 9).

Candidates can select their preference for an oral or poster presentation. However, oral presentation slots are limited and the abstracts will be selected not only based on scientific merit but also on the ability to attract the interest of a broad audience.

The Symposium will include 4 poster sessions as part of the program, during which contributors will have the opportunity to introduce and attract attention to their work. In this way, we expect to stimulate lively discussions and exchange of ideas between participants and speakers.

ABOUT PORTO

Porto is Portugal’s second largest city and the capital of the Northern region.
Located along the Douro river estuary in northern Portugal, Porto is one of the oldest European centres. Its settlement dates back many centuries, when it was an outpost of the Roman Empire. Its Latin name, Portus Cale, has been referred to as the origin for the name “Portugal”.
